Uninspired

All I'm looking forward to lately is one of my very good friend's return. Therefore my apologies for my lacking-life posting and outfit inspiration - I can barely wait until the summer is over... I never have anything to wear, or any inspiration to put on make-up, or anything in any way interesting. I just lurk indoors. I would like it if anyone reading this posted me some links to anything and everything that is intriguing to them lately! I seem to be only finding cooking fun lately - yesterday I made a cold sesame noodle salad with king prawns and assorted vegetables, and surimi, avocado and cucumber sushi, along with a small cake made mainly with eggs so it was very fluffy and light.

Right now, I'm feeling really inspired by Tim Walker's photography, especially this editorial which is quite old but I only just stumbled across it now http://models.com/work/a-magic-world
I really recommend that site for use in times of boredom! I love looking at beautiful editorials :)

  15. My take on inspiration is that it comes and it goes. Don't think about it. Just relax. Definitely no need to apologize. Keep doing what you've been doing.

  16. i always remember a line from high fidelity when it is warm and i feel like i am pink and overheated, because i am also pale and shy from the sun:

"some of her makeup has sweated off in the heat of the day, and her cheeks are pink; she looks lovely."

    as do you, tahti.

  24. Read Light Boxes by Shane Jones, it's a dark fable about people who are tired of winter :) I'm from a place with loads of sunshine, so I find your plight interesting. To be honest, I can't deal with extreme heat or cold. Still dig this look though!
