Suggestions

A lot of people have asked me questions about my hair and extensions, and I always lose track of them - I you have any and happen to read this, please ask your question on this post! I'll be able to get back to all of them efficiently then.
I went shopping today. If you live near or in Cork, or are visiting the city, you should visit the sushi bar I go to. The quality of the food is so unbelievable - I've eaten sushi in many different places and even different continents, but I have never found better sushi than in Dashi Sushi! The chefs are fantastic and to top it off, incredibly lovely. When I go to Cork I always look forward to the sushi aspect of my trip, even more than MAC! You can find their website here - http://www.dashi-deli.com/ - and they are located at 27 Marlboro St. - near the end. If you're not a fan of sushi, they also make exquisite noodles AND cakes. Seriously, go and scope it! I picked up some MAC, I didn't like any of the To The Beach collection (naturally) so I got a few items for Pret a Papier. Some of it was sold out already though! I got Tissueweight E/S, Garb blush, Dressmaker Dressmaker L/S, Originality N/P, and Coral Crepe P/P - I LOVE this, it's such a gorgeous colour! Dressmaker is my first proper coral coloured L/S - it comes out very coral on my lips. I'm kind of intimidated by it...
Following on from my initial first foodie suggestion, I have a few people to post for you who should check out. Come Wander With Me is a blog full of visual delights, beautiful music and impeccable style. Another blog I love is by Anna Maria at Fashion Flux - she has incredily styling skills, I always love her outfits! I've only featured female Lookbook'ers so far, so here are my three favourite male members - Karl Leuterio (who also blogs at totallyinkarlcerating.blogspot.com) Epha Roe (who also blogs http://epharoe.blogspot.com/ - he creates beautiful androgyny, amazing outfits, is really lovely also!) and Andre Judd. Enjoy!
I had to get kitted out in my new gear, so here's a picture! This outfit is really comfortable, which is always an up. I love elements of chav style, so my ode here is with the grey marl, hoop earrings, hat, and side ponytail. Below is a picture of some necklaces I ought today also, I finally found jewellery that I like - all I had to do was go the the male section! I am so unbelievably picky with jewellery, but I loved everything in Topman. Shame none of the rings fit me... You can find this on Lookbook HERE.

  22. Thank you to all!
hkmichelley ; Yeah, Ireland Cork! I'm from Munster.

Anonymous ; Yes, I will do!

Liz ; Oh, why thank you! Yes, of course, I'd be flattered to have a painting made of me. Do show me when the work is completed!

Bobbie ; I recommend the crispy salmon rolls, they equal SO GOOD. They do vegetarian stuff too!

Enchanted ; I buy them from www.afrocare.com, they are 24" (60cm) weft in #30, which is a dark red colour. I dye them very slightly with a bright copper dye to lighten them to match my hair. Afrocare does wavy extensions, but I think they're in stick form.

Anonymous ; I don't dye my hair, but I dye my extensions to match my natural hair colour with a copper coloured dye. I buy them from www.afrocare.com, and theyr'e #30.

    Hello!I have a question for you :)
What kind of hair do you have?Thick or thin?In the pictures it looks so gorgeous! And also, what kind of extension do you have?Clip ins or glued or braided?
Thank you!I love your blog and you are such a pretty girl.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Anonymous ; Cheers! I have average hair, verging on thin - it's stick straight, Scandinavian style - I blow dry my hair upside-down and tease it occasionally to make it look more full. My extensions are clip in.

All your talk of sushi is making me hungry and I am nowhere near Cork - DILEMMA!!

I'm fully in love with your blog - do you remember a million years ago when I emailed you about the Topshop extended shoulder blazer? Which I managed to track down in the end by the way - perfect for work!!

Well I've been following you ever since then - I think you're bloody brilliant! Maybe you'd check out my efforts some time? The Style Rail :D
