Sweltering

Boston is like a sauna today! I nearly burst into flames on my way to Starbucks, thankfully I got inside just in time. America is fantastic, apart from the fact that everything is either over or undersized, i.e. the fruit is freakishly huge, and the toilets and freakishly small and low to the ground. The team at StyleSofia have been nice enough to send me a few items, which shall be waiting for me when I get back to Ireland next week, so a thank you to them! The best part about this holiday so far has been the food. I went to an amazing seafood restaurant last night and had tuna sashimi, scallops and asparagus - the quality of the produce was incredible, and I really enjoyed myself. (The other best part is that everyone is SO nice over here. I'll never be able to quite put up with grumpy service staff in Europe ever again!) I hope everyone is having a lovely day!

  7. I know what you mean about grumpy service. When I went to see my family in Glasgow I got fantastic service - as I'm a sales assistant I try to give that kind of service to the customers that come in the shop. Glad you're enjoying Boston - not sure how you deal with the heat. I melt if it goes about 22 degrees in the UK!

forgive me for posting randomly on such an old entry, but i feel compelled. you don't know "freakishly huge" or "nice" until you've been to texas. it's what we do.
i enjoy your blog immensely. hope you're well.

  17. wow If you say that people in Boston are nice you should go to Brazil people are extra nice even if they dont speak your language but if you really hate heat you might not survive. Unless you come in the winter ...
And every time I'm in Boston i get the SAME feeling everything is HUGE like Gallons of milk and huge apples
And are people in Europe really that grumpy?
